Reminiscing

It all began at the mall,

With beauty as bright as the moon,

And symphonies to sustain a lifetime,

Of slow kisses, cute smiles, I love You's

And promises of ever after.

From dreams to nightmares,

For my actions and inactions,

Of lack of commitment and divided halo's,

A burrow to our castle plan.

Which freed your butterfly from my cocoon.

Here I'm alone and reminiscing our past.

My lies you'd see through,

You (my gem) I'd never find again,

I lost you to my faux stories.

I hurt the one I love the most,

If only I could rewrite us

On the sand of time,

Maybe this time I'd protect our names

From being blown away

By the breeze of my undoing.

MY MUSLIMAH

Doubt I felt when, this year,

I heard her voice;

Confused. Shocked. I thought
I had failed her.

However, happiness hones me —

Gifted with a milky object from within.

Naughtiness is the language of her body.

A moment with her brightens my thoughts.

Her smiles would heal an ill nation.

She is a rose for whom I spite other flowers.

Unbeknownst to her, my inner self of true feeling.

Scared to touch her each time I come close.

A mirage, to me, she appears.

But she endows me spiritually, with reminders of solat —

My adhan, straight from Allah.

Yet unaware, she glows away darkness.

Innocence
is what i see every time I gaze,

Every time she looks away.

She's that artifact a man would like to own

She's like the cloud we can see, but can't touch;

Mature enough to make me a platonic friend,

But that is not all I ever wanted.

Déjà vu

Behear silence's voice

Flying in dark breathe.

Behear songs of the moon

They crawled into my ears.

Be-sight the snow falling with bliss

Like rain of joyous grace.

I see long and wide

But I see shades

I see shades of gone nights

With all nature's bless

Upon lovers' will and smile

But beneath the earth they live

Our moon shines black;

The days are gone

But I heir your love-steps

And the days we had.

Here I live breathless

With your face in my head

I see déjà vu,

It says I miss you.

HEAVEN

When the day's broken into night

and the moon pour you cold breeze,

When loneliness sits on your lap

and lewd thirst crawls between your thighs

.

Do not shut your eyes for a movie wish

that my hands pat the valley on your chest

while I thrust into your private world

as would a vulture at the scene of war

.

but whisper me into nostril of the night,

for a call lies the space 'tween us

.

I'll race forth like the shot of sound

to gift you the cloth of my skin

then like a saint on a missionary strait

we will path heaven as lucid beings.

WHEN YOU COME

When the day dies
And its back is laid in night
I will be beside its tomb
In pool of solitude, awaiting
your lips to kiss me to life.
.
When you come,
Walk your soul over me
Put me through the valley on your chest
Melt our spirits through a path
Of lovers in amorous chaste.
.
When you come,
Burn my skin into blue flame,
With the heat between your thighs
Spread the ash on the berth
Until our sweats rain into morn.

TITLE UNKNOWN

Here I am again,
Doing what gives me no gain,
Spilling heartfelt words,
For a new found muse,
This gift I thought
Was lost in a pile of waste,
Like other gabbages,
Not useful to human race,
Yet it's the reason I get solace,
From the reality of this harsh world,
As a man of few words,
My bloody ink is often depleted,
Every time I visit this bank,
It pumps till my tank is exhausted,
My zeal remains the driver,
Of this uber of creativity,
My attraction the fuel for this crazivity.

Here I am again,
In a sacred sanctuary,
Surrounded by feathers,
Clinging to illusory hope,
Of a future unknown,
Risking all like I did in the past,
A different outcome for my goal,
A gambler I am,
Risking the unknown,
And stalking my entirety,
For if I win,
I stand to gain the world,
Yet if I lose,
I risk to lose this world.

RESPECT

Respect according to wikitioinary can be define as good opinion, honor or admiration of person (s),

It can also mean an attitude of high consideration or high regard.

Jean Jacquise Rousseau once said man was born free but lived everywhere in chains, what brought

the bondage he don't know, but the explanation of how he got there was the totality of his writing.

These black stone/ undogmatic of Jean research progress can be seen in the life of human,

particularly in youthful or adolescents stage of their life, when people who can be seen as guardian,

parent or elders believe due to their knowledge and experience of life derived from the many years

spent on earth.

These elders believe they have not only the power to shape teenage future but to also enforce a

desired course of action on their younger one's. Though these treat is vivid in every society from the

western developed economy to the developing nations in Africa.

However it is a dominate culture in Africa society, as the value of respect for elderly ones has

primacy over any other factors, which may include economic, socio-political and religious factor.

The concept of Respect is not only ideological but also the doctrinal expression used by leaders in

any society to maintain the status quo and command obedience from the totality of the population,

which can be seen according to the indirect Form of socialization that, obedience to one's parents can

translate into obedience to Government, and obedience to government according to the divine theory

is obedience to God.... i. e whatever the leader/ruler say is law is law, and disobedience to the ruler is

disobedience to God and vise versa.

However to avoid further digression from the subject matter, the rational behind this school of

thought is that, it is of the believe that these elders know the teenagers better than they do themselves,

therefore have the authority to make the young ones take a desired course of action and command

compliance either with / without the use of sanctions.

These postulation brings to light another contemporary and wide questions such as who knows the

best action that will bring progress to one's live, A guardian or the person?

How can we define the best action?

Hence, Philosophers, Scholars in support of the elders believe this elder derived their authority from

the bases of economic and spiritual need, these can be seen when they provide economic needs for

the young people such, provision of food, clothes, shelter, security. Not only that, the elders also

provide spiritual needs by forcing such teenager to religious gathering be it church or mosque.

Thus, noting the benefits derived from the elders by the younger generation does it really suffice as a

cogent reason for the elders to impose their will on the young generation even to their own detriment.

If the younger generation however fail to take their desired course of action, these can be major

stimulant for conflict which can degenerate into escalation stage.

The issue of respect if not properly manage can lead to lack of communication and will in the long

run bring delay in socioeconomic development in any society.

In view of these literature the issue of respect should be a universal issue which is applicable in not

only a vertical direction i.e hierarchical relationship but horizontal in it applicability, i.e. Relationship

among equal, the essence of these is to checkmate and guide against abuse of the power given for

personal gain or promote personal ideology or interest.
